Does anyone know the best place to buy some cheap garden shrubs other than regular garden centres which can be quite expensive.
I'm looking for about 10 shrubs to fill an empty space.

99p shop down near the Co-op, Angel Street. I bought some the other day, you need to give them a good look over, but if you know what you are looking for they are basically sound.

Charlton Brook Nurseries on Springwood Lane in High Green.

Mainly wholesale but public welcome to buy at trade prices.

Can order in almost any variety you're looking for.

Call 0114 284 5118.

Try W.O.R.K.

It's a garden centre up Ringinglow Road behind the new estate and opposite where the old fire station was, now a building site.

The place is charity run and staffed by retards and has an excellent selection at great prices. It's always an entertaining visit and they have a little zoo/pets corner too.
