I've run out of Grape Nuts and mornings just aren't the same without them!
Strangely, Tesco in Hull seem to sell them but Tesco on Abbeydale Road don't - or never seem to have them in stock. Surely I don't have to go to Hull to buy Grape Nuts??
Anyone seen them elsewhere - save me trawling around in a search for the things? T.I.A.

Grape nuts are delicious. Little nuggets of toasted cereal (wheat and barley) that don't go soggy in milk. They have a malty, nutty flavour and are full of fibre and goodness. Morrisons sell 'em.

Cheers, I'll nip to Morrisons.
And thanks littledale - would be convenient. Except Tesco have this habit of discontinuing everything that I like to the point where I'm convinced it's a conspiracy against me.

My cat LOVES the leftover soya milk from a bowl of Grape Nuts with 1t sugar. Sits and watches me intently while I eat breakfast in anticipation of cleaning the bowl.
Had to have porridge the other day. Cat was quite disgusted.

Sainsburys on Archer Road sells them. I'm also a bit of a fan - healthy, filling and tasty. Just a shame you have to leave them to soak for so long!

LOL my cats do that as well, very irritating when they meow at you every time you lift your spoon ..as if to say 'hurry up, can't you see I'm waiting'

A 450g packet (see http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...Grape-nuts.jpg) costs £1.48 at Morrisons. But as the little "grains" are more compact than ordinary cereals, you only need a couple of dessertspoonsful or so, perhaps with a light sprinkling of sugar. Mmmmm - my mouth is watering as I write this!

Well, I thought that one of the nice things about Grape-Nuts is that they don't go soggy when soaked in milk, which makes them nice and crunchy - but of course it depends on what you like! The main thing is that they are scrumptious...

Would it not be easier to cut out the middle man and simply pour the packet of grape nuts down the toilet?

I tried to leave a comment in their postcard comments box but it seemed that postcards and pens were also discontinued!
