I have recently set up an Online shop on our site. I`ve only been with Paypal for about two weeeks, and I`m already completely ****** off with them.......

They can`t provide a total of either the funds through your account or the fees paid to them, they expect the customer to work it out !
As a business you need this for your accounts

It takes 5 to 7 days to transfer funds into your bank account, there`s no excuse for this at all.

Their phone service is appalling.....

The rate is 3.4% plus 20p per transaction, i.e very high.

But the thing which has finally finished me off is that to get the merchants rate (2.9% + 20p for doing over £1500 per month) you have to actually apply for it.
But they can`t actually tell you what the running total is, so they advised me to apply anyway, I did and was declined.
When I reapplied three days later ( I was over £1500 by then) the message told me you could "only apply every thirty days", so I`m now on the higher rate for an extra month !
B******s.

Simple, Safe, Smart ?
Only for them.....
