I cannot connect to xbox live for some odd reason, my internet and router is working fine, i've tested the ethernet cable and it passed the test connection thing on the xbox.
It comes up saying make sure that your storage device is connected and make sure you are connected to the internet, i don't get this? obviously storage device means hard drive and i've checked it and it is connected and also my internet is working fine so i don't see why it won't connect to xbox live?
What exactly does the xbox live network test say when you run it? which of the tests fail?
Have you downloaded the dashboard update? maybe your xbox wont connect to live until it is updated, but i doubt thats the problem.
It doesn't fail any part of the tests, it passes them all which i found weird because it says something about a storage device and to make sure that i am connected to the internet.
