I am wanting to adopt one or two kittens.

We've had both dogs and cats in the past, but we've moved into a shared house, where we have none. There's a huge hole where those pets should be, and we miss them dearly.

Preferably one black and one Tabby, but we're not fussy.

Please PM me if you can help.

Edit - I would like to add that we don't want the kittens for any form of present, we have been here 3 months now, and have just settled to the degree and sorted our house in a menner which we feel would provide a more than suitable environment for a kitten or two.

If you can wait until after Christmas I've got a very lovely little tabby boy who will be ready for homing in the New Year. He's through South Yorkshire Animal Rescue and their homing procedures apply.

I've also got a little special needs kitten who's looking for the right home now. He's blind in one eye so needs to be an indoor boy, but he's the most loving and cuddly little thing ever. Information for him is here.

If you're interested in either of these lads (or both!) please PM me.

I've adopted Socks http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/show...ghlight=kitten

We think that if we're going to be responsible owners, we should give her all the time in the world before adopting another... if we do.

Be assured that I'll be seeking your advice on here

Oh dear she is very young to have a litter and so many unwanted cats around , if she is early on maybe you could still get her an emergency spay? it would probably be the kindest thing all round

It doesnt say on the original ad if she is or isnt speyed, so it could have been missed off.

I hope this is a misunderstanding.

oh yes, i thought it was a statement not a question ..... ''neutered and micro chipped''!!! ..... obviously it wasnt

I cant uderstand why people have pets and can afford to spay/neuter ..........surely thats all the part and parcel of the expense of pet ownership?

how old is socks?

its distressing to hear that an unwanted kitten, is now an (adopted) pregnant kitten. I hope the little ones go to decent homes.

Keely I think Socks would be around 9 or 10months as she was advertised in December as 8months. I really hope she isnt pregnant, but we will have to wait for the OP to put us worriers out of our misery.
