Is there a tram stop behind the train station?
Does it go to the arena?
Are they regular?
Is it gonna be easier to just not drink and go by car?

yes there is a tram stop behind the train station, not sure that it goes to the arena from there though. you need the meadowhall tram to go to the arena

No you need to go to Castle Square and get the yellow route tram, stops bang outside Don Valley/Arena

You can get the tram behind the train station, get off at castle square, cross the tram tracks and get on the meadowhall tram, get off at the don valley arena stop.

I think it will be faster than the car, will be packed solid around there tonight, and you'll be paying alot to park

You can also get off at fitzalen square and cross over the tracks to the other side to get a meadowhall tram

Or you can change at Ponds Forge which is one stop down.

Just out of interest, does anyone know why the recorded message on the tram always says to change at Castle Square for Meadowhall/Halfway when Ponds Forge is the last stop before the Park Square bridge?

I presume its because there is more space at castle square
