I am trying to view and then re-name a large number of photos. I am using Nero Photo-Snap and keep getting th response "File (filename) could not be opened"

Has anyone any idea why this is happening and how it can be resolved?

Thanks

I assume that you haven't renamed the file previously and accidentally changed the file extension?
Use the default Windows viewer to view the photos and use the excellent free Lupas rename to rename the files.
