Right, a friend of mine is wanting to pop the question to his other half. But want's it to be 'Romantic' not just over the candle lit dinner type. He told me to put:
- He's got lots of $$ so doesn't matter if it's an expensive idea.
- Need's to be something that'll make his OH go 'weak' at the knees.
- And wants it to be special that she'll remember it forever.

Now, that's the easy bit!

He also wants to know;
Perfect wedding venue.

Because he's a cheesy bloke (As you can tell from his 'perfect place to ask' etc ) he doesn't want a typical church wedding, meal, reception. He want's it to be a 'Big' thing.

All your ideas are welcome.

Thankyou Gina

ooooh i want a bloke like this lol, mine just wandered past argos and asked if i wanted a ring! It all depends on what their interests are, for example if they both like football he could take her to a game and have the question up on the big screen? Or take her on one of those p&o mini cruises to bruges and hire a horse and cart and do it then? The obvious one is wrapping the ring up as a christmas present if he can wait that long?

Hot air balloon ride for the proposal, if they arent scared of heights.

the possibilities are endless for a wedding venue.
he should check out some wedding mags or websites for venues, and Sheffield registery office has a list of all venues with a licence in Sheffield.

Ooh.. hot air balloon that sounds nice! Honeyb your not the only one... and the only reason I was asked is because I was pregnant! And it was in argos i'll sure remember that forever! I was buying a birthday gift and he asked me then! They both despise (I cant spell!) football! but a cruise would be good!

He's picky. And annoying at that. And to be honest she'll probably turn him down! She thinks all babys/weddings/buying a house is the 'serious' side of a relationship. likes her freedom too much.
