Extra phone socket needed

Hiya can anyone recommed someone who can install an extra phone socket please and BT are charging £166 pounds seems quite expensive.

Do you mean an extra line or an extra socket somewhere else in the house?

If the second, just get yourself a DIY kit for a few pounds.

Do you definitely need a new socket? You can buy wireless telephone extensions (that work with Sky etc) and obviously there are DECT phones that only require one socket in a house. You may have a very good reason but just in case you weren't aware of the above options

Its a an extra socket for the bedroom so I can connect my sky+ in the bedroom.

Where can I can I get a DIY kit from?

Cynic was not aware of wireless connection will this work for Sky+ as this is why i need extra socket in the bedroom?

Even M&S do them

i can do for u , basically i will extend from one Y splitter adapter £60 quid + for the part

You can get the wired extensions pretty much anywhere as razorsharp said, they'd cost you about 10 quid, some you just plug in and some you wire in to the box.

The wireless ones I have seen in Maplin you plug in to your electrical socket then plug the second one into another electrical socket where you want the extension. They support sky apparently. There may be other types.
