Large parcel shipping

i have a large item to send within UK
weight 20KG, dimennsions 4ftx2.5ftx2.75 ft

Parcelforce accepted it, took my cash and collected it (after collection window passed and I had to phone collection depot to hurridly send out a van!)
but they bounced it back today as too big to send! (and had to phone another number to claim a refund, which i have to wait 3 days for!)

anyone recommend a courior who WILL deliver this item?

I had a nightmare with parcelforce. I asked if I could send it after giving weight and dimensions, they said yes but courier then refused. Useless!
I found citylink based near meadowhall did a fantastic job and delivered my parcel to scotland in under 24 hours for a really good cheap price.
Citylink!!!! They're the ones!!!!!

personally my best luck has always been through the post office, iused to send quite large packages to Canada frequently to a good friend and i will be doing my last one very soon and be doing it through the post office once again!

do you think he will want to take this the 7 hr drive to fraiseborough though

tried citilink, extortionate price because of its strange dimensions
