Being an avid Man Utd fan (bear with please!!)...

I am getting quite ****** off by the fact that the media has once again influenced people that chelsea have now eclipsed arsenal and us (MUFC) as being the biggest team in england.

WHY?

They are basically buying their way to the title.

The only reason they are doing so well is that their crooked owner Roman is splashing the cash at every opportunity- buying supposedly the best players in the world.

Now something I remember and it goes like this-

When Sky and Rupert Murdoch were going to buy MU and pump **** loads of cash into the club for players etc- their bid was cancelled out due to the fact that it was going to give MU an unfair advantage-- so why should chelsea be able to have a billionaire owner throwing money everywhere to try and buy some titles... I think the time has come for Sky to reopen the bid for MU again.

ALSO if there are any chelsea fans on here.

You aint gonna win all 4 titles-- forget that right now.

You will never be a bigger team than our 1999 team until you win at least a treble and then the super cup which will make you the best team in the world - which we were in 1999.

RANT OVER!

How can you support a football team made up of international mercenaries be it Chelsea or Manchester United? The only thing that makes it Manchester is the fact that they play at Old Trafford. The manager is a thug from Scotland and do any of the team hail from Manchester?

Even then they can't beat Exeter. Are you not concerned that you take this game so seriously?

I can't see Rupert Murdoch ever pumping the sort of money that Abromovich is willing or able to pump into a club.

I'm afraid unless Abromovich ends up jail Chelsea are going to be dominating for quite a while. The other thought is that Abromovich is like a kid with a new toy and once he has won everything he may get fed up. There were rumours about some Russian Billionaire interested in buying a Formula One team - Wonder if it's Abromovich?

Arsenal and Man Utd have excellent squads but once a few key players get injured they are sometimes forced to bring kids in - now these kids are good enough to beat most top sides but the difference is when a Chelsea first team player gets injured, another International comes in to replace them.

Arsenal could have probably been able to match the Chelsea squad had they not paid that huge amount of money for a stadium.

How much did Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand cost again?.

Not to mention Smith, Saha etc...etc.... The list goes on.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

You guys certainly don't have as much money as Chelsea. You used to be the richest club but now you're all miserable that because your glory seekers are flocking to Chelsea- the team that has more money now.

You guys have paid 28 million for Ferdinand, 25 for Wayne Rooney, 12 million for Saha (?) and 8 million for Alan Smith.

MU are attempting to buy their way to the title also- sadly enough this is how the premiership works....

Oh dear - another stetford united fan getting ****** off that there team isn't going to win anything this season!!!

Face it- man u are not the dominant force in english football anymore, your team is average for a man u team and your going through a transition period that will probably last another few years, get used to it.

this post is quite laughable!!
as said by others, its not just chelsea that try buying the title!!
man utd TRIED doing it too!!

as for murdoch, i thought he was not allowed to takeover cause he owned sky, and this would give a bias over otther teams, although i may be wrong

as for them winning 4 trophies, if they won all 4 and not the super cup, they would still be a better team than man utd was that year!!
there is no denying chelsea have a great side, but they still have a few that was originally there

gudjohnson, terry, cudicini, lampard, gallas

Not 100m+ like Chelsea have spent.
And we have spent the cash over a period of seasons not just one or two neither.

We are not trying to buy the title at all- we are just buying players who we can use in the future ie: Ronaldo, Rooney, Ferdinand, Smithy.

It is a pity we dont have the cash the likes of chelsea that is true- but hay- Ronaldinho turned chelsea and the cash down and he was at the point of signing for us until Kenyon ****ed us up the ass.

Man U are not the most dominant- thats true now though.. we aint as good as we were- but we can still kick arsenal's ass!!

Unless they win the treble at least- they aint as good as our 1999 team- period!

The supercup is the cup that you need to win that says you are the best team in the world.

Chelsea have got to win it - to earn my damn respect.

So you're saying that if they won the super cup; you would respect them?

Seriously though, they have loads of cash and yes it's annoying but i'm sure you wouldn't complain if it was man u. Deal with it!

Damn right- if chelsea won the supercup + the treble then I would be more then happy to give them my respect.

They have loads of cash- but having loads of cash does not necessarily mean that you will be able to get the best players in the world ie: Ronaldinho - who chelsea tried to get and could not also Roberto Carlos.

ANGELUS mate, 9 of the last 10 posts have been by you.
Calm down

Veron, ( 28 million) good player and a blade to boot but played in the wrong system.
Dorlan,( 7.5million) Payed way over the odds for him, did bugger all and is now the joint leading scorer in Spain.
What was that goal keeper called talibi? the blind venitian. 4 million.
Peter Kenyon must be wetting himself laughing at you lot.

You beat a conference side 2 nil away from home after drawing nil nil at home in front of 67,000.
Some of the youngstirs that are coming through don't look that promising so they have spent 25-30 million on Rooney and 14 million on Ronaldo.
Still this might cheer you up
