Hello, does anyone know of a boarding kennels that will take a pup even though it hasnt had its first lot of injections. my sister has just bought a 12 week old pup whos breeder hasnt given him any jabs, she is taking him for his first one this week but then goes a away for two weeks (irresponsible i know), whilst shes away he is due another injection, i cant have him because i have my own pooch, anyone any ideas or recommendations

No well respected or decent kennel will take a dog without having seen the injection certs. They cant put the other dogs, your dog or their livelyhood at risk. Only chance she will have is if a friend of family member will have him

It would be seriously unwise to take an unvaccinated pup into kennels. The risks of the pup contracting a deadly disease is too much of a risk. It would be advisable to try and find a homesitter there are a few that post on here who may be able to help you.

i thought that would be the case with kennels, iv never used them myself but presumed they would need to be fully up to date on vaccinations. shes upset with me because i cant have him but i would just feel terrible if anything happened to him whilst in my care as i have his brother, but mine has had all his vacs.
