In our so called world of animal lovers, the new ad for HSBC shows a family moving and letting the snake go, when they reach the new home they have an iguana, so all you forumers is the moral of the story just let your pets go when you move you can easily get a bigger better one.

I think some people do leave their pets behind.....particularly cats.

I wonder if, in the case of a cat owner's bereavement, their relatives also leave the cat behind to survive on it's own instincts with the hope that a neighbour will accept responsibilty for the (now unwanted) pet.

I agree with you shoeshine, but advertising it makes it look like its ok to do it.
