Hi,

I have never shopped online before for groceries and today I am feeling under the weather and the LO is too so I thought I would shop online- has anyone done this with Tesco, if so, is it any good? In the process of doing it no but it'll take ages- what happens if they haven't got stuff in stock, do they just take it off your bill and refund you?

Thanks

Call me cynical, but if you shop online, aren't you inviting the supermarket to send you all their stale, mouldy and shortly-to-run-out-of-date items?

i shopped with asda online and had dreadful experiences. Sainsbury's werent much better either. Tesco however are good - and have only had one problem with several shops and the meat and fish they send isnt near the end of its sell by and has always been lean cuts (not the dross that is often left at the end of the day). When stuff hasnt been delivered or substituted as I would wish it has been refunded to my debit card without quibble. I'd recommend tesco

I shop with tescos online and they are good, if they havent got what you order they give you a substitute, you dont have to take it though and they will refund your money. Dont go with asda, they are rubbish.

My own personal experience with Tescos has always been good. I havent tried any of the others so I cant compare, but I am happy to stay with Tescos anyway
