Ireland mugging the Danes, lead 2-0 at half-time with a brace from Robbie Keane. Minute's silence to start with as Staunton's father has died. The Danes were taking Ireland apart in the first twenty minutes but Keane then put Ireland ahead with a delightful chip.
He then netted his second after the Danish goalkeeper punched a clearance on to Keane's head and into the net. Now ahead, Ireland have begun to look in control.

65 mins, 4-0 two for Shane Long. Full-time 0-4

Denmark's heaviest home defeat for 48 years.

Good night all round for the Emerald Isle, it seems.

Can we find an English grandparent for David Healy?

It's a shame Healey wasn't born the other side of the border.
