help! does anyone know a repair shop in sheffield for epson printers?
it refused to scan and now it wont print.
its my second epson and i wont be buying another. if it will repair fine if not ill dismantle it with a hammer....like the last one!

Erm, I could take you to the place, but I can't remember the name of the place!

It's on the crossroads at Broomhill, next to the cafe thing.

Think it's C&C, or something like that. Nice totty in there too.

Depending how much it cost and how old it is you might be better off cutting your losses and getting a new one.

Just a thought for future reference on the future purchase side of things.

As a rule I avoid multi function devices as much as possible because it's often a case of when one goes, it all goes...

In this instance, scanners are pretty darned cheap and getting a decent replacement printer as seperate shouldn't be too bad..



And as far as getting shot of this particular unit goes.. if you do decide to just give up, please don't do the whole hammer thing... take a look about and see if some local kid would like to learn something... I'd guess that there'd be at least one who would relish the opportunity to take something apart to see if they can understand or even fix it, without getting yelled at for a change


*yes you can see how I learned about cars, PC's, radios, etc...

not a bad idea martin but if they cant get the screws out they'll hit it with a hammer too for different reasons...seriously good suggestion though ta
