am thinking about getting a tablet pc instead of an mobile with internet. Could someone tell me if the tablet PCs are any good it will be for work so all i would be wanting to do is view emails and the betfair website - will this be possible?

Quite candidly unless the manufacturer is offering something spectacularly different you really need for your job, I'd advise you to stick with a decent top end laptop because there is effectively no difference between a laptop & a tablet PC apart from the OS and a few other features which cant be found in XP Pro. In the case of my tablet PC it has an electronic stylus, onscreen keyboard and bits/bobs like that which in my view are gimmicks.
