Not a stranger to camping, and have had a variety of tents over the years, but these two things that came with our new tent have me stumped.
Yellow nylon bags, lined in green, gathered tops, one bag is three inches long, the other two and a half and big enought to get a finger in each one.
I photographed them on a CD to give you an Idea of scale.

What are they

If the tent pegs are small enough to fit into one of those I wouldn't go camping in a stiff breeze

Not big enough mojo1, you can literally just get a finger inside them and no more.

Maybe thats why they are there. Some one at the tent factory got really bored and thought - this will confuse them.

They're for putting severed fingers in when you have freak accident with your swiss army knife
I'm stumped (no pun intended) I've been a camper all my life and I've never seen anything like them.
