I'd reccommend Sweeny 4 on ecclesall road, cheaper than in the city and they do a fairly good job. Just ask for Laura.

Is that Coulson's (used to boast "2 chair service" in the window) It is indeed on the corner of Neil Rd next to Boot's

I go to the one at the Hillsbrough tram stop. Costs about £10.50. Stripping must be extra though. And thye have many chairs. More chairs than staff, in fact. Nothing more sinister than an empty chair at a hairdressers.......

I can recommend Paul Butlers and the place next door to the expensive shoe shop in Broomhill. The latter is also open on Sundays.

Theres only 1 choice - TaylorTaylor either on division street or further down in town. Its pricey for a barbers (£10ish) but its a 'cut' above the rest. Il get me coat....

Top barbers though.

Try Mr Saccarelli (or whatever it is) on Abbeydale road. It's near the bottom of Woodseats road. You can drop in, he does a good job and charges very little.

Do they do a better job than the ones that charge less than this? I have often wondered why barbers prices differ so much.

the reason prices differ so much depends on which part of town you go to for a hair cut.a good barber is hard to come by and just because its ecclesall rd or town centre doesnt necessarily mean you get a better cut or service.the surroundings may not be on par but you dont take the decor out with you!prices out of city centre can vary from £5 upwards.
