Good question good, even great players as he was, do not usually do well as managers, we have gone for a name.
With the squad of players minus Jags, if we do notmake it for automatic promotion play offs minimum, if we finish lower than that on your bike.

Some Blades haven't even given him a chance and we haven't even kicked a ball yet.
I say he will be gone before Christmas and we will do a Leeds

I think it is time to stop with all the Robbo is crap stuff & get behind our new manager.I remember Hulse & Stead being slagged off & they did well for us last season, while others in the team just strolled around.

I thought Billy was signed, sealed and delivered and on his way to the Sty, I heard he was mates with Flaws etc so why the anger ?

I don't think Bryan Robson is the best choice, but, he's here now.
If we land Billy Sharp that's a good start. However, losing Jagielka will be a blow, and I'm slightly worried that we are hearing very little about new players.

Ive said it before and i,ll say it again, you could do a a lot worse than Brian Robson, he must have plenty of good contacts that fella, although i can understand some of your comments cause he can be a little wayward with his team selection to say the least.
He dropped a lot of big name players at past clubs, thats one thing i can remember about him, it seems like his man management might be under scruntiny at times, which doesn't always bide well with a big squad, as it gives you the temptation to tinker, like Robbo obviously enjoys.

Bryan Robson was not my first choice but i will give him the benefit of the doubt and with billy sharp on his way back to the lane it seems i think we will go straight back up as we have a very strong squad for the championship.
Also what makes me feel more Optimistic is the fact that we are being linked with players that would be class in the championship i just hope he proves all the doubters wrong.

The only tragedy concerning losing Jags is the amount we will have to settle for him - 4 million.
If Dawson went albeit part of a double deal for closer to 10million, then it says alot about the inconsistency of the market or more precisely the idiot who agreed to Jags new contact.

Agreed, I would've thought we'd be busy in the transfer market but it seems that BR is happy with the squad he has
