Does the camera have Auto Focus. I have since been told as a starter that I will need this.

Thanks

Are you sticking with film then?

I can't believe I did 18 months at college doing photography and about 2 years later, digital started to come through, and I realised all the developing and printing skills I learnt was a complete waste of time

As much as I enjoyed this side of it, the time it takes to get things right can't be justified now. I can do on the computer in 2 minutes what might have taken all morning in the lab

I'd definitely start saving for a DSLR if I were you. (that's what I'm doing)

Most of the stuff I do in PS is based on what I learnt from doining traditional darkroom techniques. A good grounding and not a waste of time.
