Travel SY - Bus, train and tram information.

Council's Latest Rain News
Road closures, school closures and general info.

Hallam FM - SY School Closures and Weather Warnings
I'd check the facts...

All the Sheffield Traffic Cams

Haven't been updated much tonight but a good source.

And your best source of information: http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/

For REAL TIME travel information and where roads are closed.

Or call 08700 660 115 - available 24/7.

http://www.highways.gov.uk/aboutus/2304.aspx

The police have stated not to call 999 for redirection of traffic. Highway agencies will ge the ones with the most uptodate information.

Please can I ask everyone to keep an eye on their neighbours , especially the elderly. As well as food and drink and ensuring they are warm. They might need prescriptions ordered or picked up to keep them well.this is particularly important where the power is still down as some of the gp practices phonelines and switchboards are not working for routine calls.

Anyone who relies on medical equipment at home that needs an electricity supply should contact their medical adviser.
