Im trying to have a nice time on SF, attempting to wind people up and post my usual drivel, yet the damn forum is... lagging? I hit "Submit" after typing and the damn thing just sits there for 10 minutes while it decides weather or not to do anything.
I know its been mentioned before and I know others have complained about it, I killed Firefox because I was convinced that Firefox was slowing the forum down, but no.
Im going to hit Submit now, I expect you `ll all see this for the first time in about 20 minutes.

If you're using the 'Post quick reply' button to post, then this happens very occasionally to me too.
If it's really really slow for you, try hitting 'Go Advanced' instead and posting from there- that usually gets round the problem until it sorts itself out (which seems to be a random length of time).

When mine doesnt crash, I get this issue some times also...

Im getting it all the time now. I wonder if its something to do with my distance from Sheffield or something. Its actually making me feel sick to watch it lumbering around trying to connect.

Ive been trying all day though, since this morning. Its usually sickeningly slow and has been since the new server thing but todays been worse than ever.

Has been for me. Its been bad for a while now and its really sickening, not annoying just sickening.
I know I dont often add sane and sensible stuff to the forum, but when Im tryign to have an interesting debate like on the caning thread, the slowness is really wrecking everything. I cant reply because its hard to concentrate, and once I DO reply the forum goes so slow that it times out and I lose everything I typed.
