Britain was attached to France yesterday and I know that for sure because I came back to Britain in my car on land (albeit on a train) without seeing the sea.
Was Britain ever on the same land plate as France?
And if so what year big Britain come apart form the North of France?
Britain still is part of the same tectonic plate as France, as is Ireland. When sea levels were lower because of the glaciers of the Ice Ages locking up so much water all three were part of a larger European continent and it would have been possible to walk between them.
The southern North Sea and the English Channel are quite shallow.

Yes, if the sea levels dropped we would still be able to walk across to France and the Low countries
