Apparently Redknapp insists that his decision had nothing to do with his row with chairman Milan Mandaric over the appointment of Velimir Zajec as Executive director.

It's not what his body language was telling me but anyway, I wonder if he'll be interested in a job at Wolves?

Shame. He is one of the more charismatic managers in the division. He can name his club.

Yeah, absolutely. Sad for the fans, but I hope Mandaric reaps what he sows....

I think Portsmouth will drop like flies without Harry and Jim the dynamic duo!.
There are'nt many people out there who could do what they have done and it will be a lucky team indeed that inherits these two .

I think Harry Redknapp is a great manager and Portsmouth must be daft if they are happy to see him leave.

well as a west ham fan i have to say that the man works wonders with very little cash. sure he buys the odd o.a.p. but they do a good job for a season or two.

west ham treated him worse than portsmouth did. sacked him, sacked his assistant (his brother in law) and lost frank lampard because harry is his uncle and the assistant was his dad!!! great move guys.. im just loving alan pardew and our treading water team now.

massive mistake...

portsmouth have done a big mess with this... he spent little and did so much for them. at least he went out on a big high. any1 taking over now will never get them any better. he speaks his mind and thats why fans warm to him.

i dunno who are luking for a manager but i think he might wanna drop a few divisions where there is less bigwigs involved in the game.

If he stays out of football until next season the Blades should go for him depending on what Warnock does.

I'm a Harry Redknapp fan, he reminds me of the late almost England Manager Brian Clough, brilliant and won't put up with nitwits. Anyway I read today that he may have quit because Milan Mandaric relvealed 3mill had gone to agents in Harries time.
Who knows.
Still I'm for voting Redknapp to take over Svens job.

Nice one Robbie.
Don't you hate it when politics takes over and screws people’s lives because of yet another dysfunctional control freak.
It’s a lot like working in an office when there is ALWAYS some idiot in charge. I'm glad I'm too old for that malarkey now.

Yeah, but seems media was blowing it out of proportion yet again
