Taxes usually come to a minimum of £30-£40 I think, then there may be a debit/credit card booking charge and luggage charges, plus the cost of airport parking etc.....

Is this the "free seats, but still charge you for the tax" tickets?
I cannot remember whether Ryanair was one of the company that said they will not increase their taxes.

Ryanair had no choice but to increase the taxes due to Greedy Gordon. For example a £5.99 flight from Gatwick to Dublin would cost you £26 in taxes where as Dublin is £15 tax for a £5.99 flight.
Their debit/credit charges have no increased and you are charged £2/€3 each way for using a credit card.

If you could be bothered to look at the site in the link, you will see that this offer price includes airport taxes/charges.
Although it says FREE, I have managed to find a flight next month from Doncaster to Dublin for 1p plus a £2 Credit Card fee and a baggage fee of £5 if I take more than cabin baggage.
Not bad, really!

Ah-ha. He's going back on his word!
Airport tax is different for different airports as well anyway. I think the free gimmick maybe was to try and keep his customers happy really. I really thought that he was one of the person who disputed the increased tax issue?? The only airline who will not follow the new rule or something. Yet, now he is abiding by the rules. Maybe it was a controversy just to get himself some media attention in the first place.

Well, I couldn't be bothered, and that is why I asked, and used a question mark?
I asked..."is it" ?
Well, that is a good deal then! Definitely.

Must be me then
I won't be using my booking anyway as I couldn't get one for the OH and the confirmation doesn't match the dates I chose
