Please can someone settle a little disagreement for me...

My partner and i were watching telly last night and an ad came on advertising Duracell Batteries... It happened to be a little Bunny advertising them...

My partner said that they shouldnt have been using Bunnies as thats Energizers little Mascot... I replied no its not because Duracell have always used Bunnies in their ads playing Drums and running races etc...

Being a Man he refused to believe me lol

Doh!!! just had a thought... could Duracell and Energizer be of the same company... an both use Pink Bunnies

I am aware they have been on the telly for sometime... thats not the disagreement...

All we need to know is it Duracell or Energizer? or are they both running on the same batteries

I imagine the bunnies will run on any brand of batteries, duracell, energiser, ever ready, rechargable ones, whatever.

'In 1989, the brand's ever-popular Energizer Bunny® made his television advertisement debut. He first appeared in a parody of Duracell's "Toys" campaign in which he not only lasted longer than toys powered by Duracell batteries, but kept "going and going" right off the commercial set to interrupt other commercials for imaginary products including Trés Café and Alarm soap. I'd call that Pink Panther with HUGE ears!

I hope this settles it now then... as i thought it was both of them that did the Bunny... will look much closer next time

To be honest ... I don't care!

I mean ... a battery is a battery is a battery.

What would be really cool would be a rifle range ... with loads of battery bunnies wandering around.

And me ...

Armed with rifle / shotgun / grenages ... HEHE

Oooops ... I misspelled grenades !!

What was I thinking ... a momentary outburst of violence ... please forgive me.

I have now just read a full analysis of 'Watership Down' ...

... and deeply deeply regret my previous comments.
