What do you guys think to this guy?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Robbins
He earns $1m per year enriching people's lives, including Quincy Jones (not exactly needing a boost?) and appeared in the film, Shallow Hal with Jack Black, but is he for real?
Does it sound like more American psycho-babble, or inspiring 'coaching'?

It's psychobabble, but such things are not exclusively American. Rhonda Byrne, an Australian, is the biggest thing in that whole self-help scam right now.

Where did you hear this information?
Im not saying you're wrong, but I'd never heard of him before going to America, and his commercials were on TV there all the time. He was also in the film Shallow Hal playing himself.

I for one do not swallow his or anyone elses crap. If it is that good, why do they spout off about it and not keep it to themselves. I had a chuckle reading some of the jobs advertised in the jobs forum last night. One particular one was the Kleeneze ad. It says it is NOT pyramid sales, yet it uses the same principle, a team you set up and reap commission off them

I think Poppins was just grasping for some excuse to slag our country off (which compared to how she responds when people criticise America is rather hypocritical.)

And considering I'd already let America off the hook by bringing up Rhonda Byrne is rather... odd.

He ain't that popular in Britain, he's still trying to flog his CDs on late night adverts. If he was selling that well I'm sure he would have no need to push his products to the ever so lucrative 2AM audience. He did have something to do with Sheffield about 15 years ago if I remember right.
If his stuff does work then it's only down to those teeth. I'm certain the gleam from his smile stuns us and that's when he gets us.

A mate of mine has been on a few of his seminars and would be more than happy to speak with you about how he found them.
He wont try to sell you anything and isn't on any type of commission he will give you his perception of what he experienced.
If you are interested go with what you think and try not to be stifled by what others say or have heard.
email him at mackenzieinyorks@yahoo.co.uk - first name Ian..tell him [harry] told you to mail him.
To your success..

The ideas are great and a friend of mine used him for a while, I am really very sorry to say without achieving any of the required objectives which is not to say that life coaching is no good - I think it's great myself; rather that the coach was no good.
Just to add to said friend wrote to thank me for my time to move them on etc. etc. etc. Kind of puts this Robbins character in their place a bit because what am I other than a mere mortal

I have seen him flogging his tapes & C.D.s on QVC. I must say he has such brilliant white teeth, that it would go straight over my head what he says.
