Any ideas anyone how i can get my cat looking a bit cleaner, hes a black and white long haired but his white bits look yellowish/grey. I tried to bath him and was scratched to within a inch of my life. wondering if there is a dry shampoo or cleaning wipes for cats. Thanks

I'm afraid that if they go outside they're likely to end up looking a bit less than pristine- my white lad is white all winter, but spends summer looking in need of a bath.

My BF has handily pointed out that Persil would work- but I hope he was joking! (at least- he can hold Arthur while we dunk him up and down in the stuff if he wasn't!).

You could try a damp cloth perhaps? Also these might help.

one of my cats does not wash - to the extent that he's picked up infections from not cleaning his feet for months on end!

I've started giving him fortnightly 'showers' using a water bottle with a sports cap. I don't use shampoo - just give him a bit of a rinse out.

He's quite happy with this arrangement, but he's a very placid cat
