I love watching Most Haunted and watch in On Demand with NTL when I think the kids aren't around.

My DS who is 8 years old and started to take an interest and if I'm ever watching them he loves to watch them with me. They have recently had some great paranormal activity which everyone can see and hear.

I think its great and so does DS. However my hubby is completely sceptical and says is all staged and my DD occassionally watches it and then has nightmares for days.

Where's the happy medium here !! No pun intended!

Should I let DS still watch who seems fascinated and not spooked but keep DD out of the room?

I should be careful I let my daughter watch and at first she was ok but the more she watched it she started to get worried and thought there were ghosts in her bedroom and refused to go to bed on her own. I dont let her watch it any more.

staged or not staged i wouldnt let my daughter watch it, it took a while to get her to believe there was no such things as monsters, she now sleeps happily every night

I too wouldn't let a young child watch this kind of programme. I know I had lots of nightmares etc as a child what with having an over active imagination so for it to be fuelled by something that would be relatively scary would only spell trouble.
