So this morning i dragged myself out of bed and made my way to my local sainsburys with my mama.
My papa and brother had already been the first in the queue since 7 and we had made it at half past 7.
We got a raffle ticket meaning we were guaranteed a bag.
When we got inside at 8 o clock the first 20 people got there bags and then we were informed that 10 bags had gone missing and we were not entitiled to one.
We got offered a £5 gift voucher and that was it. We also got told that if the bags were found we would not be entitled to them.
I think this is absolutley disquesting, a £5 gift voucher for a bag thats like golddust to get.
Yes i know that i can get obne off ebay tomorrow for about a 5er because everyone thinks there going to get a profit too many in fact.
Ive wanted one of these bags for so long.
Well my mum has contacted the sheffield star and sainsburys head office.
I think theres been lack of commincation and the managaer had know for 20 mins already before he told us about the missing bags.
I think this has all failed for sainsburys perhaps?

I'd suggest you go and get a life rather than waiting outside Sainsburys, at 7 o'clock in the morning, for a bag

Yes along with the other 5000 people that have done it.
And the ones that queued outside harrods last week for hours on end.
Oh yeah and the 3000 people that made the site crash.

"The UK's leading accessories designer Anya Hindmarch has got together with Sainsbury's and global social change movement, We Are What We Do to produce a limited edition environmentally friendly designer shopping bag. "
There's an irony there that I can't quite pinpoint.

I was at the Crystal Peaks branch for 7am too, the time they were advertised to be on sale and got told by a snotty customer services witch that the store opened especially at 5am for the sale of the bags and that customers were queing since 4! Well these customers must have been colleagues, cos they didnt advertise the correct time so how could anyone have known they were being sold at that time! I really wanted one for myself, saw it months ago before all the celebs started carrying them and its not right that people got to buy one for a fiver to sell it to people like me desperate for one for £200! If anyone has one at a reasonable rate, will you let me know please???

People buying these for a bomb on eBay must have *mug* written on their heads. Think how many Sainsburys there are and then you know how many bags there are - after a week they'll be selling on eBay for a quid because it will be full of the things.

Methinks there's too much money floating about at the moment. Is it really a necessity?

All that does is scare me to think there are so many sad, superficial people around! A bag is a bit of shaped leather for carrying stuff in, I just can't imagine anyone caring *that* much over who made it! I can kind of understand designer clothes but a bag........?????????
