I want to paint my metal bath white. Is this something I could do, or is it a job for a specialist: and if so, does any one know one, and how much it costs

thanks

Ive looked at that before and worried that it might not look too good - but I guess that anything would look better than what we have right now So how is it applied and how do you get rid of brush marks and the like?

I had my pink(I know...) bath re-enamelled by the Northern Bath Resurfacing company based in Sheffield. Off the top of my head it cost less than 200 quid but it may've been more expensive because the colour had to be specially matched and mixed. It was a fantastic service and great finish.

I once painted the inside of my enamel bath (in another house) it looked okay for a while but then it all started peeling...

It looks great if you do it properly. You put it on with a roller. Just make sure that the bath surface is sanded before applying. I used an orbital sander with a rough disk on.
