Friday's Manchester Evening News usually lists auctions, including police ones. If I pick up a copy on Friday I'll post the details, or ask your newsagent to order you a copy.

Ive heard that the police auction off all the stolen goods they've recouped that havent been traced back to the rightful owner. Does anyone know where any of these auctions take place?

When I spoke to a Copper a year ago about a bomb washed up from the Don
he informed me that to buy any of the gear that I was drooling over I would have to bid for it on Bumblebee auction,

Aparently its easy, but you can only collect the items, but it does tell you the police station that the items are stored at,

They may only put items on once a month, so if theres no items listed by a local station, keep looking each week

Due to a low poster I cant give the web address, so just Google Bumblebee auction and you will find it at the top of the page
