I've already been!

Next time I go in will be when the risk of frost has cleared because I need my little plants for my baskets.

What colour are you doing your furniture then?

I'm on holiday this week and have already been - I resealed the bath and put up a new riser rail for my AMAZING power shower.

Seriously, it's that good it could bring about world peace

No. Unfortunately, i am in possession of something called an 'imagination'. This prevents me from spending all my leisure time inside a shop. I've been to the doctor, but there's nothing anyone can do about it..

That's really clever. How do you *imagine* bits of wood or paint out of thin air? Is your garden stocked by the production of ectoplasm? Or are you just trying to be smug and superior?

we went yesterday. I needed a washer for the inlet pipe on the toilet cistern, it developed a bad leak overnight I also purchased a roll opf PTFE tape. While we were there I also purchaced some numers for the front door. (did you know it was a legal requirment to display them, I had no idea) and I sent the O/H back down later on to buy one of those little playhouses they have in stock at the moment. My little pickle love's his new playhouse

That sounds nice - that soft green? I like colour used in gardens. I favour blue and cream in mine as it has a maritime 'theme'. The colour 'pulls it together', and looks a little mad

I got another folding chair and I had to laugh because the 'health and safety' instructions on it were ridiculous, including saying pregnant women should not sit in it - what?! What's a folding chair going to do?!

I've already seen some bees and a butterfly.

Well I had a forum Easter minibreak which I spent visiting B & Q, Homebase and Wickes, one or two more than once. I bought some herb plants, pansies and violas, lots of tester pots, more white spirit, gloss paint (copper mine and celebration red), then the paint for my bedroom (caramel glaze), wall filler (flexible and fine), a narrow shelf so the cats can see out the window, a red suede lampshade, long handled winder cleaner thing, and other bits I can't remember.

There's a nice atmosphere. It's like a modern tradition. Everyone seems to have woken up for spring and making a fresh start on things.

And the weather was fab!
