I was by meadowhall helipad yesterday in the overspill carpark and I noticed that the weird metal trees that were in the corner of the car park have gone. There must have been at least 150 of them and have been there for years. You can even see them (not very clear) on google earth.

I was wondering what has happened to them, have they finally been weighed in?

Are they £300 each or £300 for the lot? I don't wish to buy one but just curious.

Some of them seem to have reappeared on the cleared corner site on the Bramall Lane roundabout.

Yeah, I noticed them the other day. I don't suppose they've become sentient? Perhaps they plot to take over those bits of the world next to busy transport systems?

Didn't they used to be actually on the upper car parks at Meadowhall itself in the early days? Planted up with pathetic, straggly creepers desparately clinging to life?

They obviously took up too much space, I bet they managed to get at least another 100 cars in when they turfed them out.

But £300? A bit excessive really for what they are.
