Superb race last night, the best since Germany 06. Typical of Stoner to moan about Rossis 'tactics' though. Just watching it again now and Stoner was behind Rossi so surely he will have seen that Rossi went off the track and almost lost it?!

What a race!!!!! Rossi showed he is the master on and off track! Am i mistaken but wasn't every pass Stoner made was on the power? You won't out brake Rossi, thats a god given fact. And that pass on the corkscrew!!!! You simply cant pass there!!! That race is a keeper as Toby and Julian said.

It certainly is a keeper. I watched it again on Monday and recorded it so have now got it on DVD, the Eurosport commentary team made it even better aswell. I really hope the BBC sign those guys next year.

Can't see what Stoner has got to moan about. All Rossi did was defend his lines, there was no blocking at all. Unbelievable move on the corkscrew though.

Sad news about Craig Jones. Horrible accident. It was awful to see him just lying there in the middle of the track.

Nicky Hayden is to miss this weekends race at Brno. He injured his foot racing supermoto. Hopkins is to return after that bad crash as Assen.

Very good win for Rossi!! It was a shame he couldn't beat Stoner in a fair race head to head but he needed this for the championship. Now 50 points clear of Stoner.

Top result today for Rossi.Wonder if moaner will try to blame Rossi for his misfortune today ie he was closing the gap too quickly, going too fast closing in on me, too much pressure.ITS his fault.

is it me ? or does stoner have something wrong with him every other race....... he's had as they report mysterious flu 2 times and now quote:Stoner reveals mysterious hand fracture..
is this just crap.... so if he doesn't win then he has got an excuse and if he does win then (He won with the flu or whatever)????????
Think he should just stop moaning and get on with it

Great ride from JT today, well happy with 6th for him!

Even happier with another Rossi win and another Stoner crash

Anyone hear Nicky Hayden saying that he was upset at Eurosport not having the coverage next season? Why won't Dorna actually listen to the riders and allow Eurosport to continue their absolutely outstanding coverage?!

Pedrosa will be on Bridgestones in Indianapolis aswell.

great race from rossi nice to see crashey in the dirt again.....
i prefer the BBC coverage, probably the only one that does but there's no adverts and no rambling mamola, plus we get good interviews like today watching Steve parish and James toseland doing the assault course... and of course SUZI PERRY...il say no more.......

oh yea i forgot crashey only crashed because of his wrist.....lol

The BBC coverage is rubbish, I don't think they know that 125's & 250's exist. The commentators are awful aswell. I do like the no adverts bit though, thats the only redeeming feature. Moody, Ryder, Memola & Spalding are great on Eurosport and the 4+ hours of coverage each race day is excellent. I'll certainly miss it next season

I'm liking this Casey Moaner crashing out every week though. Massive lead for Rossi now!

I'm in the Eurosport camp too. What those 3 don't know about Moto Gp isn't worth knowing. Ask any of the BBC airheads who came 4th at Donnington in 2005 and they wouldn't have a clue, Toby and Julian could tell you who came where on what and why. Does anyone know actually what caused Stoner to crash? was he blaming anything or did he just run out of talent? Toseland did a good job of holding Capirossi off, he looked shattered after the race. It 's the work of gods to race at that pace in that heat.

Spot on about the Eurosport crew. I just hope the BBC sign them up for next season.

Not sure why Stoner crashed, like you say, it was probably just that he ran out of talent

It was indeed a great ride from Stoner, I thought he was heading for a 5th place when he went past Dovvy but unfortunately Vermeulen was too fast. He did really well to hold Capirossi off though.

Looks like Pedrosa is running Bridgestones for the rest of the season. I'm not sure of the proposed single tyre rule. It will make for great racing for sure but will it slow down tyre development that always filters back to road users? bear in mind we can go and buy a standard bike on standard rubber that will blow away the GP bike of a few yrs ago.
