If anyone gets completely fed up with this game, there is a walkthrough here, but it is more fun to solve it yourself

This was one of those games that posted in the old I'm Bored about 18 months' ago. Unfortunately, the threads have probably been removed by now.

I can't remember it all the way through ~ at the moment I have the mystery box, a battery, empty CD case, the memo with the url, silver key and gold key (which opened the drawers), the unplayed cassette, another key (which I can't find the keyhole for), a thin ring and a thick ring, and the power cord, which connected to the CD player.

Now I'm stuck, and for the life of me I can't remember what to do next.

I've found the metal rod, played the tape and found the safe. I've also found the code, but when I put that into the safe, it tells me that the numbers are wrong. Anyone any ideas?

Hmmm. I seem to remember getting very frustrated at this point, but can't quite remember what I did to solve it

You could try 1994, see if that works, as that is the number shown on the screenshot on the walkthrough.

The code I was getting was 7351, but when I checked a walkthrough it used to be 1994, but it changed. I've tried both and neither work, so I assume that the code has been changed again.

It would take hours to go through all the number combinations, so I've given up.
