Sky problems - no signal being received message - any one help?

is any one any good with sky,i know it usually goes wonky when raining but its now saying no signal being received is this a water logged lnb if it is any ideas how much a new one is??/

It's raining awful heavy out there and there's been very strong winds. Chances are the dish has either moved very slightly out of alignment and/or the rain/sleet is too thick. 'Twas my pet hate with Sky. Wait till tomorrow and see if it clears...

turn it off for a couple of minutes then it should be ok and when I say turn it off I mean completely disconnect the supply not just into stand by

already done that one.......nothing at all.was fine this morn but more rain an its had it so methinks lnb is a bit damp

if you have already done that then its the snow it is snowing rather heavy at the moment leave it till it stops snowing and then try again just remember it may not be snowing where you live but if the snow is up there it will block the signal just by any chance live on high ground

mine has gone off, its cause its snowing, it always happens

Someone on the "Snow" thread has lost Sky. Is it snowing where you are pauly ?

I'm having the same problem here. No signal on either feed (Sky +).

One tip, if you have Sky + the box can still playback recorded stuff for some period of time after the signal is lost. If you turn the box off and on again it won't. I just found this out the hard way and can't even watch stuff I have recorded.
