Not seen anything about it on here, but it was reported yesterday the "Doomsday Clock", which is a measure of how close the human race is to extinction, has been moved forward for the first time in 5 years, as a result of greater nuclear threats and global warming. We're now at 5 minutes to midnight.

Now maybe I'm missing the point here, but why don't the boffins just wind it back to make the planet better? Or better still, take the batteries out of the back to avoid world disaster!
