been reading one or two posts on generall football subjects in sheffield ie swfc and sufc. it dosnt seem 2 matter what the subject is about but it dosnt take long for the sufc fans 2 tear into swfc. we no the owls are struggling at the moment and have fallen quite rapidly, but what have sufc actually done in the past 5 or 10 years, not a lot 2 be honest. the only thing theyb have 2 talk about is how bad the owls are which 2 me suggests a great lack of success on there part.

3 fa cup semi finals and a league cup semi isn't bad going for an average div 1 team.

As a Blade who has [rightly] been criticised for brutally laying into Owls fans, I take the point. I can be a vicious, sarcastic ******* at times. I also agree with Tosh re how good it would be to have two top-flight Sheffield sides [as long as we are on top...]. However, Robbie makes a valid point re the sheer arrogance of so many Wednesday fans. The club ARE in trouble at the moment, whether we sympathise or gloat over their plight, and the "Premier side in waiting" rubbish I hear all too often sounds hollow to say the least. I'll give the Owls some credit though, and this is a first for me, their fans are nothing if not loyal and optimistic. I can't abide that wretched Band though...

I totally agree Timo.I have a family all Owls fans so when there are get togethers weddings and such,I am the only Blades fan,but I don't care because I feel superior to them .Then the punch up starts 40 against 1 LOL
