I need a set of numberplates for my car (have taken the private reg off).

Anyone know of anywhere local to Ecclesfield/Chapeltown/Hillsborough that does them?

I usually use Jepsons on East Bank Road, but want to try and find a more local one if possible.

Got mine from Halfords – Wadsley Bridge.

Tried to get them from Reg Vardy, Penistone Road but their DVLA rules were slightly out of date so I didn’t have the right documentation.

Just to pre warn you, you need to take various bits of documentation – Passport, V5 form, photo of grandparents, utility bill(s), bus pass etc. OK, can’t remember exactly what you need – but I had problems as I’d changed my address (had recently moved house) on my V5, my passport had expired and my driver’s licence was with the DVLA with a change of address.
