Most of what you download is already compressed, so it can't be made smaller. You can only download at a certain speed, so to get what you want to your computer will take whatever time it takes. I don't see how these programs can make it come quicker since it can't compress it any more, or make your connection quicker.

CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

where you hear that from ? i think you telling porkies

You can speed up a modem by buying 2 PCI modems and SLi'ing them with rewiring the Phone connection line with duck tape. but thats the hard way.

If you want a quicker way simply glue a skyhook to the PCI port and route the matterbooboo in the lefthanded elbow joint on the heatsink.

I'm surprised anybody's bothered giving him any advice with an attitude like that ; I'd tell him to come back when he's learned some manners.
