I have loads of CD's on my hard drive and with each CD it has the album cover, the back, and also the image on the actual CD. What I want to know is what soft ware do I need to buy so I can make my own discs? I've got a colour printer to do the cover and back but want to know how Id burn an image on to the disc.
Also is this possible with DVDs?

There are Printable CDs, but you need a dedicated printer such as the Epson to print on them. They work fine because I've got one. You can buy adhesive CD labels in the form of a kit. You print the label, put the CD on a Spindle and slide the label down onto the CD. I don't like these as you can get the label off-centre. Whether this would cause damage in a player by setting up a vibration, I don't know.
Also when it says drag the image does it have to be the correct size of a CD cover or does it do that for you?
No, it'll automatically resize them to fit. Plenty of DVD covers available at www.cdcovers.cc . No audio there though, the RIAA made them remove them all.
Nero and Easy CD both have programmes in them to Burn CD' & DVD's ! They also have have programme to design the BOX image onto paper that fits into a CD or DVD box. The Easy CD one is straight forward and even alters the size of the print to compensate for the number of tracks! Nero has a similar programme which does the same but isn't so helpful. If you are prepared to look around and get versions that aren't the latest version copies can be had for less than £10. Both these products are the commercial leaders in this field, but be warned once you have them on they cant be easily removed!
