There is one at on Ecclesall Rd at Somerfield, and one on Fulwood Rd opposite Tesco Express garage.

I don't know the cost of a service wash i'm afraid as i usually only pop in to use the driers occasionally. They are run by the same company and the ladies at Fulwood are really nice.

I did notice the dry cleaners in Broomhill is closing down soon, so collect anything you have there.

There's one on Middlewood Road, near the bottom of Wadsley Lane. Not too far from Stannington! Don't know the charges for service washes sorry.

I only ever take my other halfs overalls to the launderette. I drop them at the one on Foxhill Road. Very nice lady & done in a couple of hours usually.

Does anyone know what the average cost of a service wash is please?
how often do people take their duvets for cleaning to the launderette (if at all?)

Does anyone use the launderette on a regular basis who could give feedback on any service within the launderette which they feel is lacking and why?

We are a cleaning business seriously considering opening a launderette as a further service and are currently researching exactly who uses launderettes and for which services exactly.

Any information/feedback/comments anyone could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks.

There is a launderette at Nether Edge, near the cafe and off licence.

In answer to your question - they are ridiculously expensive. My washing m/c broke down last year and it was costing me about £20 to do a weeks washing. And there are only two of us.

I was suprised how expensive they are but £3 for a wash and then the drying came to another £3.60 plus 50p for soap but worth it! I must admit that you get a far superior clean with those big washers! our clothes feel and smell far better than when we wash them in our domestic washer must be the roominess of the washer to toss the clothes around more.

I'm going to take the quilts next albeit expensive an annual blast makes them look and feel great and the smell...........heaven!
