Yeah it kicked off big style with Sheff U and United fans today, and the (Man) United fans went a bit mental on the way back. The Sheffield-Liverpool was stopping at Manchester Piccadilly carrying loads of United fans. Hence the train services going tits up.

Cracking day out though, can't believe how much Sheffield has changed!!

i came through midland station this evening en route from meadowhall and there was police everywhere. the police had to eject some idiots from a train bound for cambridge (notts forrest fans). it looked quite ugly and as if things were about to kick off at any moment. on a saturday teatime sheffield station is busy with families including children on their way home. it is such a shame that these scumbags have to behave in such animal fashion.

Me and my friend travelled to Birmingham this morning,
and there were loads of youths! getting on the train,
with carrier bags full of drink, this was at 8-0am,
they were going to the Wednesday game, anyway after consuming most of the alcohol,by the time the ticket lady came round, they
had the cheek to ask for child tickets.

I cant understand why they are allowed on the trains with such quantities
of drink, they would be drunk before they even got to the game.

Coming back was an even worse nighmare, wish I'd stayed at home.

The British Transport Police (BTP) are conducting a survey to ascertain how rail passengers feel about the service they provide and are keen to hear your thoughts via their online questionnaire.

The online survey contains questions about police visibility, hate related crimes, fear of crime and general questions about your train travel. The information acquired is essential to the BTP's decision-making process and will be used to help shape the BTP's priorities for the future. It is also useful to help target specific areas of policing which require further attention.
