First official wear of the black Fetchings this morning. Bloody cold it was too waiting for the bus. I'm pleased to report that they're very cosy, and allowed me to keep a firm grip on the bus fare. I think the duck egg blue ones might have their first official outing tomorrow .

Out the drawer Mine never found there way in there... Handbag, yes.

I wear them most days when i feel the need. Only thing is though they've gone abit kinda bobbly, (they've not been washed yet though) i think its from getting abit wet when it rained one day and maybe me leaving them in my handbag and i must admit i haven't looked after them as much as i should have done (chucked in and out my bag)...however, its an excuse to knit another pair for me, one day although i'm sure after the 3 i've got to do for xmas i might get abit sick of them

You've got it bad, haven't you? Fetching addiction, that is . They do make excellent Christmas presents though.

I was in Tesco last night and had a browse at their Winter clothes range. What should I see in the accessories section? A pair of gloves very similar to Fetching, except without the cables and in a different stitch pattern. Not as soft and thick as the Fetchings though.

So, we're at the cutting edge of fashion and didn't know it .

I've worn my Fetching too but they seem to be overly big for my small hands after a few wearings; and the picot edge seems to curl back so my knuckles are exposed and freezing!!

I didn't block them so maybe that'sthe problem?

Mine are quite long, I think, so although the inner top edge curls back a little (when I curl my fingers in), the outer edge seems to be alright. My knuckles aren't exposed at all, though the draft does blow down them somewhat.

I didn't block mine either,

Mine have that problem with the picot edge. It seems to roll back a little bit obscuring the cables at the top. Must just be a characteristic of the yarn or pattern?

I've worn mine a few times now - they are very good for driving as they allow you to still keep a good grip on the steering wheel.

At work yesterday I was asked to leave the nice warm office and go down into the HUGE concrete freezing cold warehouse for about 30 mins to search through loads of freezing cold boxes....anyone else would have been annoyed. I was secretly soooo happy because it meant I got to wear my Fetchings to keep my hands warm whilst opening boxes and stuff. So in short - very useful indeed.
