You can get a bus from the interchange. Can't remember any of the numbers i'm afraid, takes between 30 minutes (on the X bus) and 45 minutes on the standard service.

taxi back to sheffield will only cost around £12.00
Dinnington is ok, but some of the areas aren't nice

Look on the right of This Map.
You will see Dinnington between Maltby and Worksop.
I think that there is a time difference there, though.
Set your watch back about 200 years.

It cost £20 10 years ago. I doubt it's got any cheaper.
The last bus into town is at about 11pm (just before).
I'm puzzled by the hotel reference though, there isn't a hotel in Dinnington.
There is a pub called "The Lordens Hotel", but it's definitely a pub and not a hotel.
Dinnington isn't dangerous, although the Lordens is a bit of a dive and at the wrong end of the village.

I don't think i will be going, I thought it sounded quite posh, like a stately home type hotel in a pretty classy village - seems i am sadly mistaken!

Here are a few photos of Dinnington next door to where your Do Is.

WINTER SUNRISE OVER DINNY
However it's not all as nice as that, but where you are these views are 1 minutes walk away.
Have a nice night. Locals look a bit rough and ready but normally only fight between themselves.

Lordens.
What you have to realise is that Dinny is an old mining village (In fact the Lordens hotel was built by striking miners in 1926)
And it's WYSIWYG basically.
Grudges go on for years here, last thursday, 2 blokes in their 60'S were squaring up in the Lordens about something that happened 40 years ago (One of the blokes dogs ate some food off the other bloke so he hung his dog) True.

http://www.j31.co.uk/dinpubs.htm
here's a link, the lordens is second on the list.
Location wise, if you were looking at a map of Dinnington, it would be to the NE, in fact it might be the most NorthEasterly building in the village as beyond that it's just fields.

The locals have to fight. They can't run away with their 3 toed, webbed feet. As for transport, try stagecoach. No. Not the bus operator

when was that? I went to BotB a few times, probably about 11 or 12 years ago. (Could also get served without any problem).
