Ok, got another one of those threads where weirdness is happening to me on SF and I want to know if it's happening to you too...
Tonight the amount of posts within one page has kept changing, without any of the posts being removed (as far as I can tell). Has this happened to anyone else? It's been particularly bad on the train scanner thread for me.

I'm fairly certain we only used to get 12-15 posts per page.... but now we seem to be up to 20
Edit: I know how to tell! Google some old threads and read them cached

But it's only been happening tonight and it keeps changing Has the 20 post limit been upped tonight? I have been on a few threads where the posts had been moved onto pages further "up" (this 20 post thing is sounding like the reason why Strix, the more I think about it). On one occasion at least though it had gone back to normal. Hmmmm. Totally not sure now.

It's likely to have something to do with the old 'I don't read anything more than 3 pages long' thing .... or space on the server, or the speed of the server loading pages, or the number of people looking at new pages at once...
There'll be a good reason for it Gaz, and you'll no doubt get an explanation along with your padlocked thread

yeah, i noticed some had (Pages: 1, 2) then they sorta turned, into a single page post, I think they may be testing out some new configurations..

well they would do if posts 15-19 were on page 2 and the 20 posts per page limit arrived

I'll have you know I read every thread very carefully . Well unless I think it's something I'm going to get into a really heated argument on, then I try to ignore it if I can .
I'll just get asked if I've reported it again, I don't know how to report things since the feedback forum was removed. I'm guessing its through the helpdsk thing but posting and seeing if other people are "suffering" is always more fun.
