A stranger's grip around my throat
Holding myself as still as I can
A stranger's weight upon my chest
Holding my breath
This stranger awaits my movement
This stranger watches me sleep
This stranger's eyes upon me
This stranger makes me feel weak
A stranger's breath upon my neck
The hairs prick up
A stranger's touch upon my skin
Something crawling deep within
This stranger is called darkness
This stranger hates the light
This stranger may not harm me
But this stranger is called night
