In starting this thread it would be interesting to know if people have old photos and postcards of Sheffield, to see how things were and how much they have or have not changed.
Views from the early 1900's being especially poignient ... showing the tranformation from the victorian era and more industrialisation of the city.

if you are after nostalgic pics of old Sheffield, there's thousands on picturesheffield dot com, some great, some not sogreat, but useful if it's a particular area of Sheffield you're looking into.
